Upcoming transition to the Paley Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida

To My Dear Patients:

On October 5, 2015, I am proud to announce that I will be opening the Feldman Spinal Deformity and Hip Preservation Center at the Paley Institute, in West Palm Beach, Florida.  I will be joining my respected long-standing colleague Dr. Dror Paley at the Paley Institute (www.PaleyInstitute.org) which is on the campus of St. Mary’s Medical Center and the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital.

I have been recruited to lead the Spinal Deformity and the Hip Preservation Centers.   This relocation allows me to offer patients cutting edgeSpinal, Hip and Limb-Deformity comprehensive care, in a rehabilitation friendly environment individually structured to every patient’s recovery needs.

This institute is the leading Orthopedic Limb Deformity Correction and Limb Lengthening Center in the world, treating both children and adults. Over 90% of the Paley Institute patients come from out of state; treating patients from all 50 states, from over 85 countries and from six continents. The Paley Institute is known for excellence of surgical and rehabilitative care. Their reputation for achieving results in patient’s surgical outcomes surpasses any other institution of this type in the world. I am privileged in my new position to add to as well as deliver that same level of excellence.

I am proud of my 21 years with NYU Medical Center, as it is one of the finest academic medical institutions in the country. I am also pleased that I will continue to schedule patient consults in New York in a Manhattan based office a few days per month, performing surgical procedures at NYU Medical Center for patients who cannot travel to Florida.

As a specialist in orthopedic surgery, I am looking forward to and enthusiastic about working with the staff of the Paley Institute, as they have mastered every aspect of the patient’s orthopedic care experience. It is a very important part of my work, to be able to provide top care and service to my patients in all facets of their care. I am committed to making this transition easy for all of you.

The Paley Institute provides patient/family coordinators who are available to help plan and schedule appointments. They will also take time to advise about accommodations and travel arrangements. The Paley institute is only a ten minute car ride from the Palm Beach Airport. The Quantum House (like a Ronald MacDonald House) conveniently located on the grounds of Hospital provides affordable housing in a family atmosphere. Extended stay hotels with a special Institute room rate and shuttle transportation to the Institute are also nearby.

Please feel free to call my staff for information or an appointment at 561-844-5255 or 212-533-5310.

During and after this transition, I can always be reached with any questions or concerns through email at: [javascript protected email address] or my NY office at 212-533-5310.

Sincerely,

David Feldman, MD
