Comments: Dr. Feldman is without a doubt the most knowledgeable and skilled orthopedic surgeon for children with achondroplasia. All four of our children, who have achondroplasia, see him. He knows them by name and address each of them and their concerns with the care and attention to detail that you expect from such an experienced surgeon. I love how he listens and wants their input.
Dr. Feldman basically saved our youngest daughter’s life. She’d never had a full spine baseline MRI which Dr. Feldman gets on all his achon patients. Our daughter whom we’d adopted had been home with us six years and given a clean bill of health from another dysplasia clinic. Once Dr. Feldman saw her MRI and the damage she had at the C1/C2 level immediately got a sleep study which revealed our daughter had central sleep apnea. Untreated over time it can cause damage to vital organs due to repeated lack of oxygen and even death.
Dr. Feldman also noted on our twins X-rays that their spines had never fused at the L4/L5 level from a previous spinal decompression surgery preformed at another dysplasia clinic. Our boys are now pain free and thriving.

Just a month ago all four children had surgery to begin upper arm lengthening. Once again Dr. Feldman’s attention to detail and care for our four children was and continues to be amazing.

We travel from Chatt, Tn to see Dr. Feldman because we want the absolute best care for our children.
