A South Florida native, Dr. Raffa returned home after completing his medical training and neurosurgical residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He later earned an MBA from the University of Florida to further strengthen his leadership in healthcare. His postgraduate fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami provided extensive experience in complex spine, spinal deformity, and neurological disorders.

Dr. Raffa treats the full spectrum of spinal conditions; including neck and back pain, herniated discs, sciatica, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, degenerative disc disease, spine trauma, and spinal deformities. He also has specialized experience caring for patients with dwarfism, including achondroplasia and other skeletal dysplasias, offering thoughtful evaluation and treatment for challenges unique to dwarfism-related spine conditions, such as cervical stenosis, thoracolumbar kyphosis, and symptomatic spinal narrowing.
